Step 01

Open the web browser. Go to the web page that you are trying to download.

Try to get the download link, but do not download from IDM. (Your current download will resume from the beginning.)

On some websites, you just can’t copy the download link, so follow the steps to get the download link.

1.      Disable the IDM Extension on the browser and restart.


2.      After restarting, go to the web page and try to download the file.

3.   When the download starts in the download manager on the browser, pause the download, then right-click the file and click “Copy download link.”

Open the Internet Download Manager (IDM).

Select the corrupted file name that you want to resume. Then click “Right Click” and click "Properties.”

In “File Properties,” you can see the file details, like name, size, save location, address, and more. In the "address," delete the previous download link and paste the new link you copied (Step 3). Then click "OK.”

Again, select the file name and right-click “Resume Download.”
